COMPLETE PACKAGE PROGRAM

The base package includes the hardware, software and libraries to create the real-time Linux platform, network interfaces, and support to run the simulator. It includes a Pentium based PC, 1GB of memory, three dual headed graphics cards, hard disk drive, six USB ports, and an optional sound card. This hardware can then be configured in a wide range of options.

No worries about network congestion, system lag, or jerky visuals. All process communications is via internal Linux IPC (InterProcess Communuications) thereby unloading the network for the most critical data exchanges. Simulation frame rates in excess of 60fps are routine even when running with three visual scenes. The motion is smooth, steady, continuous, and fully synchronized with the instruments, autopilot/FMC, and other aircraft subsystem models.

No licensing or multiple installation problems to deal with. You purchase ONE license for ONE machine for ALL the software whether for personal or commercial use. We offer several options for support and maintenance services along with the license. Contact our sales desk for details. If you require a professional, high performance, reliable, and cost effective system this is the obvious choice.

    BASE PACKAGE
  • Graphics drivers and configuration files to drive six to eight flat panel displays or monitors
  • Real time Linux
  • Displays for PFD, ND, EICAS, Standby gauges
  • EFIS control via MCDU
  • USB joystick interface available
  • Independent functional Autopilots and FMCs for Captain and First Officer
  • Set of generic aircraft subsystem models
  • Network interfaces for FlightGear data and control
  • Source code for all open-source programs available with purchase
A complete package would provide all of the following:
    PACKAGE OPTIONS
  • Interface to EFIS/EICAS/MCP Panels and slaved board
  • Parallel port driver for interrupt based MCP controller or standard USB
  • USB interface for a complete flight control package -- yokes, columns, rudder pedals, tiller, and toe brakes
  • MCP Board linux interrupt based driver
  • Throttle quadrant with spoilers and flap controls
  • Smooth Auto-throttle mechanisms and controller
  • additional electronics and PCBs to connect hardware to the PC -- all USB based
  • Remote login/control via LAN

The package is designed around a basic set of software modules and interfaces that provide the key components and functions required of all flight simulators. Both hardware and software can be tailored and customized to meet the customer's requirements. The package can be used to build just about any aircraft model from a single engine Cessna to a large commercial airliner. The total package is intended primarily for professional organizations, flight schools, and agencies that employ flight simulation as a part of their research or work. However, it can be tailored to accomodate a more modest budget.

You can spend several thousand dollars on software licensing and a network of 6, 7, or 8 PCs and get at best a limited, constrained, and slow performing system. Or you spend less on this package and get exceptional fast performance and system response with display frame rates in excess of 150fps with current CPU/GPU technologies.
